QPR is an internationally used gatekeeper model for suicide prevention. It does not turn participants into clinicians; it teaches them the three steps anyone can take when someone around them is at risk.

Manah facilitators run the session with Indian workplace and campus context, including how to raise a concern with a colleague, what to say and not say, and the referral pathways available inside your organisation.

  • Recognise the verbal, behavioural and situational warning signs of suicide.
  • Ask the question directly and stay with the answer.
  • Persuade the person to accept help and refer them to the right support.
  • Know your organisation's escalation and crisis pathway.
